QBE Insurance

Kada worked collaboratively with the Gensler Australia design team to modernise and revitalise the workplace for QBE Insurance. In the early stages we worked closely with the design firm to cohesively communicate a look and feel that would suit the client and their needs. With intentions to encourage staff engagement and foster collaboration across teams, the project included World task seating, Co-lab meeting tables and Schiavello Aire meeting tables. Personal storage was to be provided to staff, this was provided via custom locker joinery and cupboards across three levels. 
We worked closely with the designer, presenting products and attending end-user workshops to grasp what was required. Thorough conceptual planning with the designer, based in Sydney, was required to customise the lockers and fit within the set budget. Aire meeting tables support the changing workplace with their light and adaptable design, they were dispersed throughout the floors, allowing staff to easily find somewhere to work away from workstations when required. Once the project was installed we upheld our relationship with the client providing training on features and benefits of the installed furniture. 
We designed and made custom joinery and storage to be recessed and flush within the given spaces across all 3 levels. The storage and joinery was made by our craftsmen in New Zealand and installed by our team. 
The main conference space is fitted out with a 14 person Aire meeting table with a walnut oak veneer top.
