Kada was proud to support the new Canopy Healthcare Group clinic in Hawke’s Bay, the first in the region to combine oncology and imaging services in a single facility.
Pilkington 6 Design led the interior design, curating a warm, calming palette inspired by the natural tones and textures of the region. As one of the trusted furniture partners, Kada worked closely with the design team to source, deliver and install the selected pieces, helping to bring this thoughtfully considered environment to life.
In patient-facing areas, modular Steelcase Regard seating was installed to support comfort and privacy in waiting zones, designed to give patients a sense of dignity and ease.
Steelcase Series 1 task chairs were specified for the nurses’ stations and consultation rooms, providing ergonomic support during long shifts. Complementing the consult rooms were Vitra Softshell chairs, upholstered in Canopy’s signature forest green. These added both comfort and character, reinforcing the clinic’s sense of identity.
The staffroom was furnished with Green HAL Wood chairs and Bistro tables, creating a relaxed, informal space for the team to pause and recharge.
Meeting rooms were equipped with Burin tables featuring custom oval tops on white bases, paired with the signature Softshell chairs, delivering a clean-lined, cohesive aesthetic for collaboration and conversation.
The result is a calm, functional space that reflects Canopy Healthcare Group’s commitment to care. Many of the same furniture solutions have since been specified for other Canopy clinics designed by Pilkington 6, creating a sense of continuity across the network. We look forward to continuing our partnership on future projects, including the next clinic set to open later this month.
