The goal was refreshingly simple: create an inviting environment for staff to relax, collaborate, or simply pause during the school day.
We selected a combination of furnishings that balance durability with warmth: the iconic Stool 60, versatile Belleville Table Bistro, elegant HAL Wood chair, and the playful Hut Stool. These pieces bring refined design, comfort, and flexibility to the space, suitable for everything from informal meet-ups to moments of solo downtime. The Stool 60 and Belleville Table set the tone of a café-setting, while the HAL Wood chair adds refined seating choice and the Hut Stool introduces a more relaxed, stand-up or lean option.
The result is a staff-café environment that feels intentional and inclusive. The furniture supports a range of behaviours from grabbing a coffee and chatting with a colleague, to working on a laptop in a quieter corner, to spontaneous gatherings. From our perspective at Kada, this project demonstrates our ability to deliver design-led furnishings into an educational setting, adapting to the needs of the user group while honouring strong aesthetics and functional performance.
