Artek commemorates its 90th anniversary in 2025 with a poster designed by Finnish contemporary artist Inka Bell. Just as the Aaltos merged industrial production techniques with humane natural materials, Inka Bell’s work merges analogue printmaking with new techniques in mark making and image making. The poster is inspired by Alvar Aalto’s Screen 100. The original artwork reinterprets the screen’s contours through experiments in silk screen printing, involving layers of blue and black ink.
