The Steelcase Gesture is the first office chair to support a greater range of postures, technologies, and user sizes. Inspired by the human body, designed to support the way we work today.
After conducting research with over 2,000 participants in 11 different countries around the world, Steelcase discovered the way people work today has changed. Supporting a range of technologies, postures, and user sizes is key to supporting today’s workforce.

The Gesture – Light is ex-showroom stock and may show slight wear and tear.
Back frame and seat shell are plastic.
Back: 3D LiveBack® technology with core equalizer that automatically provides the right amount of lumbar support.
Seat: Adaptive bolstering with adjustable seat depth. The passive seat edge angle flexes 39mm, relieving pressure under the user’s thighs. This feature is standard.
Arms: 360˚ independent height, width, pivot, and depth adjustable arms.
Base: Five-arm base is available in plastic.
