Fauteuil de Salon

Fauteuil de Salon
by Vitra

Designed by
Jean Prouvé
for Vitra 1939

Fauteuil de Salon joins simple planes into a unified architectural object with a comfortable seat surface and backrest. Rediscovered in the archives of the French engineer Jean Prouvé, the armchair has been updated in a contemporary colour palette. The armchair’s understated character suits a wide variety of interiors, and its ample upholstery and oiled, solid wood armrests emanate inviting comfort.
