The HAL Tube chair is part of the HAL chair family by Jasper Morrison. It is designed with a classic, unassuming four-legged base and a comfortable plastic shell. The versions with powder-coated chair legs are ideal for outdoor use.
‘Special is generally less useful than normal’: this statement sums up Jasper Morrison’s guiding principle for creating designs that are ‘super normal’ rather than extraordinary, showing deference to the dictates of daily life – just like HAL. As a reinterpretation of the multifunctional shell chair, HAL comprises a versatile seating family with a clean contemporary look.
Available in basic dark, white, ivy, chocolate, brick, orange, warm grey and ice grey.
Base in chrome, or powder-coated in ivory or basic dark.
Short Lead: selected finishes available, please enquire directly.
Seat shell: dyed-through polypropylene.
Base: four-legged base in tubular steel
Glides: carpet glides or felt glides for hard floors.
Powder-coated chair legs are suitable for outdoor use.
The HAL Tube is available with seat cushions in a range of colours. Please enquire for further information. Seat cushions are not suitable for outdoor use.
